Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Perth, WA is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee on-site activities and ensure contractor compliance with project specifications. You will report to the Construction Manager and coordinate with multiple disciplines to keep the program on track.

Responsibilities include reviewing submittals, schedules and costs, monitoring safety and workmanship, and guiding data for progress and expenditure forecasts.

Qualifications

• 8–14 years of relevant experience in major building projects.
• Strong experience with contractor oversight and on-site construction management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with other disciplines or areas to ensure program delivery priorities are maintained.
• Review all contractor submittals including construction schedules, costs, reports, and changes.
• Coordinate data for reports and forecasts, including summaries of construction progress and expenditure forecasts.
• Support and assist internal stakeholders regarding onsite project related activities and logistics.
• Actively monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements and encourage safe work practices.
• Monitor work activities and the quality of work performed by the contractor.
