Job summary

McArthur is seeking an experienced EL1 Program Reporting Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity with a Federal Government agency in Canberra. This Canberra-based role offers hybrid arrangements and focuses on executive reporting, PMO governance, and data visualization through Power BI and DevOps.

You will develop integrated program reporting frameworks, produce dashboards and reports, and coordinate inputs across multiple workstreams while engaging senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program reporting, PMO reporting or portfolio reporting within large government programs.
• Experience developing executive dashboards and governance reporting.
• Experience supporting senior executive and governance forums.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex program information.
• Experience in highly regulated government environments; advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, DevOps and MS Office.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining integrated program reporting frameworks and standards.
• Producing executive dashboards, performance reports and scorecards.
• Coordinating reporting inputs across multiple program workstreams.
• Monitoring milestones, schedules, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Analyzing complex delivery information and identifying trends or concerns.
• Preparing executive briefings, presentations and governance reporting.
• Supporting senior governance forums, assurance activities and program reviews.
• Improving reporting processes, automation and data visualisation.
• Engaging with senior stakeholders across business, program and delivery teams.
