Job summary

Gunn Agri Partners' Wilga Farming is seeking a Senior Farm Hand/Operator to join the Crillee Aggregation in the Central West region of New South Wales. This hands-on role covers seeding, spraying, harvesting, machinery operation and farm maintenance within a large-scale operation.

The successful applicant will have cropping experience, strong mechanical aptitude and a safety-first mindset, with licenses such as HR Truck, a current Driver’s Licence, and ChemCert being highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in cropping, preferably within a large-scale or corporate enterprise.
• Proficiency in operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery.
• A current Driver’s Licence (essential).
• Mechanical aptitude; welding and fabrication skills will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks.
• Heavy Vehicle (HR) Truck Licence.
• ChemCert accreditation.
• First Aid certificate.
• Confined Space and/or Working at Heights certifications.
• Experience using AgWorld.

Wilga Farming (Australia)is currently seeking a motivated and capable SeniorFarm Hand/Operatorto join our team at our Crillee Aggregation, a large-scale farming operation located in the Central West region of New South Wales.

This hands-on role is integral to the daily operations of the farm and involves a wide range of activities including cropping, machinery operation, fencing, maintenance and harvesting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in broadacre farming, strong mechanical aptitude, and a proactive, safety-first attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake seeding, spraying, and harvesting operations

About the Property:

The Crillee Aggregation is a large-scale 6730-hectare mixed farming enterprise comprising three properties across the Central West region of NSW, Kooroora (3,183ha), Crillee (2,471ha) and Hallerton (1,130ha).

Hallerton, Crillee and Kooroora form the Crillee Aggregation. It includes approximately 5,850 hectares of dryland cropping, 193 hectares of irrigated cropping, and 682 hectares dedicated to, conservation and operational support.

The property is strategically located between Gilgandra and Dubbo, providing access to a major regional city and several welcoming country communities.
