Job summary

Key Assets Australia is seeking a Family Services Senior Practitioner to promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people through early intervention, assessment and targeted family support.

Reporting to the Team Manager, you will work with families across home visits, phone contact and group meetings, delivering time-limited intervention plans while maintaining strong collaboration with children, families and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with understanding of child and family services.
• Experience conducting comprehensive assessments to develop and monitor service plans.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks in child protection services.

Responsibilities

• Actively assess and support children, youth and families via home visits, phone contact, and group meetings.
• Provide targeted support to priority groups, including infants, young children, adolescents, people with disabilities, and those experiencing family violence.
• Develop time-limited intensive intervention plans with families while collaborating with stakeholders, including children and young people.
• Ensure Practitioners have access to supervision to meet program requirements.
