Job summary

Cadigal Group is seeking a Senior Façade Engineer to lead design efforts for innovative façade solutions and to manage client relations across Sydney-based projects. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality designs that meet budget and schedule targets.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with Australian standards including AS4284-2021, AS/NZS 1170, and AS 4654.1-2018, and contribute to proposals and reports for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of facade engineering design and construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian façade standards and codes.
• Experience in managing client relationships and leading project teams.

The Role:

As our Senior Façade Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our design efforts, responsible for creating and implementing façade designs that are both functional and visually stunning. • Designing and engineering innovative façade solutions.
• Writing fee proposals and project reports.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, we are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in facade engineering design and construction, with a strong background in project management.
• Excellent knowledge of Australian standards and codes related to facades, including AS4284 - 2021, AS/NZS 1170, and AS 4654.1-2018.
• Experience in managing client relationships and leading successful project teams within the built environment industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills focused on quality and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to the audience and situation.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Eligibility for CPEng accreditation via Engineers Australia is preferred.
