Job summary

The P.A. People Pty Limited is seeking a Senior Fabricator to lead hands-on metal fabrication and coordinate workshop activities in our fabrication department in Sydney.

The role combines advanced fabrication techniques with leadership responsibilities to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards. Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade).
• Competent in MIG welding (carbon steel).
• Proficiency with using metal fabrication, hand and power tools.
• Experience reading and interpreting shop (production) drawings.
• Ability to fabricate without formal drawings.
• Ability to fabricate one of custom items.
• Basic computer skills across the Microsoft office suite.
• High attention to detail and quality.

Due to a vacancy becoming available in our fabrication department, we are looking for a skilled Senior Fabricator ready to take the next step in their career. This role combines advanced hands-on fabrication expertise with leadership and coordination duties to ensure all projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This hands-on role will see you:
