Aurenne Group is seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist to join their WA team on a full-time 8:6 FIFO roster. You will lead front-line exploration activities, oversee drill staff and contractors, and drive data interpretation to meet exploration targets.
The role requires 6+ years in exploration geology, a BSc in Geology, and strong GIS/3D modelling skills. You will work in a private company environment focused on innovation, QAQC and delivering outcomes on budget and schedule.
Aurenne is a well-funded private company which leaves us in a strong position as the masters of our own destiny. It is that flexibility which affords us the freedom to think differently, operate differently and reward differently. We are a forward thinking - technology driven company, who moves and adjusts with new discoveries. We even have our own Photon Assay lab on site!
We are looking for an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist to join our team and lead from the front. This is a position that will offer you the flexibility to manage the team and take responsibility of ensuring the day-to-day functions are completed, focusing on the outputs and results of the exploration division within the geology department.
The Aurenne Group is a private company who acquired the historic Mt Ida - Bottle Creek gold field, 80 km west of Menzies in 2019.
As a private company our family owners recognise the most important building block to success lies in the strength of the ‘Team’ and building one that shares the owner's vision to be different is paramount. Sure, the mining industry is strong in Western Australia – but finding the right people fit is no easy task.
We’re not a listed company on the ASX grabbing headlines to satisfy the latest market trends. Our management have no share price to cause sleepless nights. Neither are we an exploration junior that’s perennially underfunded and always struggling for the next dollar. You will not find us in the media pages attempting to convince others of the strength of our business – that’s just not us. Self-promotion is not part of our DNA. We hope we’re more than that.
