Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Senior Expertise Counsel to join our Corporate Transactions team in Perth. This role targets a long-term career path in corporate law within a firm that backs development and ambition.

We are looking for an Expertise lawyer who combines technical legal excellence with a client-focused approach and a commercial mindset, to help drive innovation and efficiency across our practice.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years experience in a knowledge/function role related to corporate law or a transition from fee earning, in-house or academia.
• Experience across corporate law including public and private M&A, capital raisings and ASX listing rules.
• Genuine interest in corporate law with a commercial mindset and regulatory/market updates.
• Strong drafting skills and development of standard documents and know-how.

Responsibilities

• Support partners and lawyers to achieve high productivity, quality and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate business development initiatives and maintain go-to-market know-how.
