Job summary

Mindshare, part of WPP, seeks a Group Experience Director (SEO/GEO) to lead delivery across Melbourne and Sydney. You will oversee Directors and Associate Directors, drive SEO product maturity, manage key client relationships, and ensure profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading and developing specialist teams in a media, digital, or SEO environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing client scopes, revenue forecasting, and profitability.
• Deep understanding of SEO channels and services; connect SEO strategy to broader media planning and campaign frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Leads a mid-senior team of Directors and Associate Directors across Melbourne and Sydney, with full accountability for performance management, career development, and day-to-day team operations
• Manages and grows strategic client relationships across GroupM agencies including Mindshare, EssenceMediacom, Wavemaker, and Neo Media, acting as a senior point of escalation and strategic counsel
• Oversees commercial performance across the portfolio, including revenue tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, and timely scope renewals to protect profitability
• Shapes and evolves SEO product solutions in close collaboration with the Head of SEO, driving service maturity and commercial growth across client accounts
• Connects across GroupM agency client partnership teams, performance leads, and third-party platform partners to ensure alignment and maximise channel utilisation
• Champions delivery standards and continuous improvement across the team, establishing clear processes, documentation, and training frameworks that lift output quality
