Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families seeks an experienced Allied Health Coordinator - Exercise Physiologist to provide clinical leadership across BlueCare services. The role supports clients in aged care and community settings, with responsibilities spanning program development, care planning, and staff coaching.

Based in Brisbane with flexible locations across Metro Brisbane and surrounding areas, the position offers an hourly rate and benefits including leave and salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications in Exercise Physiology are essential.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Exercise Physiologist.
• Leadership or management experience within allied health is desirable.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence with a roadworthy vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to exercise physiology and allied health staff.
• Assess, develop, manage and evaluate care plans and group programs.
• Delegate activities to staff to support client independence and self-management.
• Identify and guide development of service delivery and resources in area of expertise.
• Collect, analyse and trend care outcome measures.
• Deliver training presentations as required.
• Coordinate orientation and practicum programs for new exercise physiologists.
