Job summary

Bureau of Meteorology's Community Services Group is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Support Officer to join the group’s executive support team. The role reports to the Group Executive Officer and collaborates with the executive leadership to provide high-level support.

You will manage complex workflows, coordinate ministerial business, drive governance and quality assurance, and offer strategic advice to managers and senior executives.

Job description

The Community Services Group (CSG) is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Group's executive support team. The position will report to the Group's Executive Officer and work closely with other members of the group executive office to provide support to the Group Executive and the Group's Executive leadership team.

The Senior Executive Support Officer provides high-level executive support, governance coordination and performance reporting services for the Group. The role is responsible for managing complex workflows, coordinating executive and ministerial business, driving quality assurance processes and providing strategic advice to managers and senior executives.

Operating with a high degree of independence, the position builds productive relationships across the Group, ensures timely delivery of key priorities, and identifies opportunities to improve business processes and governance outcomes. The role may also be responsible for supervising and developing junior staff and coordinating the work of others to achieve business objectives.
