Job summary

SOCO Event Hire is seeking an experienced Events Partnerships Coordinator to grow our network of event partners and recurring clients across Sydney, the South Coast and Southern Highlands. You’ll work outwardly to identify opportunities, nurture relationships with agencies, venues and planners, and convert conversations into long-term partnerships.

You should bring hands-on event experience, understand timelines and live delivery, and be comfortable speaking the language of seasoned event

Qualifications

• Extensive events industry experience and ability to speak the language of event professionals.
• Strong relationship management and business development capability.
• Experience working with clients, suppliers, venues and event professionals.
• Confident in quotes, proposals, presentations and client recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with corporate event agencies, experiential agencies, event producers, wedding planners and venues to generate recurring work.
• Proactively identify and approach new partnership opportunities across target markets.
• Meet with existing partners to understand upcoming events and opportunities for SOCO.
• Manage warm leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with regular follow-ups.
• Own key partner accounts and act as a trusted SOCO contact.
• Create proposals, quotes, and pitch decks to illustrate value to clients.
• Collaborate with clients on furniture selections, layouts and event requirements.
• Attend networking events and partner events to keep SOCO visible.
• Maintain CRM and pipeline so opportunities never fall through the cracks.
• Support onsite client events to ensure a stellar SOCO experience.
• Identify upsell, cross-sell and collaboration opportunities.
• Share industry insights and opportunities with the team.
• Work with sales, creative, operations, marketing and purchasing for a seamless client experience.
