Enemix in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Senior Estimator to lead pricing for major transmission and HV substation projects, with hands-on exposure to HV works and BESS. You will develop detailed estimates and manage RFQs, coordinating with engineers and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.

Qualifications

• Extensive estimating experience in HV substations.
• Experience with RFQs and supplier negotiations.
• Strong civil and electrical takeoffs and pricing.
• Experience in EPC or head contractor environments.
• Proficient in estimating software and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for transmission and HV substation projects from concept through tender.
• Manage end-to-end RFQ process and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing.
• Develop and maintain pricing for labour, plant, materials, civil works and subcontract packages.
• Review scopes, drawings and specs to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to validate methodology and productivity assumptions.
• Lead compliant and competitive tender submissions and post-tender reviews.
• Maintain cost databases and benchmarking data for future use.
