Job summary

Globe 24-7 is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor for a Western Australia mining operation. The role is FIFO 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off from Perth and permanent, offering senior-level environmental support across a complex site.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of relevant environmental experience, preferably in mining or resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Strong experience with environmental monitoring in an operational setting.
• Solid understanding of mining-related environmental impacts, risks and controls.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience interpreting and managing environmental approvals, licences and conditions.
• Exposure to statutory reporting, regulatory audits and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior environmental advice across site activities and teams.
• Interpret environmental legislation, licences and associated conditions.
• Coordinate monitoring programs, including groundwater requirements.
• Manage sampling, analysis and data to support compliance obligations.
• Prepare statutory reports and maintain environmental documentation.
• Track commitments related to approvals, tenements, licences and closure.
• Investigate environmental incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits and compliance activities.
• Engage regulators and internal stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Maintain and improve environmental management systems.
• Identify risks and implement practical controls across the operation.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve environmental performance.
