Job summary

Onterris, Inc. is seeking a Principal Environmental Assessment and Approvals Consultant to join our Adelaide team. The role involves delivering approvals strategy for major clients across SA and nationally, plus leading client meetings and mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate has tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or Planning, deep knowledge of SA and interstate environmental approvals, and proven report-writing experience. This is a senior, on-site position in Adelaide.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Planning or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental approvals and impact assessments for SA and/or interstate.
• Strong understanding of state and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing reports, referrals, EIS/EMP submissions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approvals strategy for major clients across South Australia and nationally.
• Perform business development by bringing in new clients to the business.
• Present and lead external meetings with clients.
• Successfully manage multiple projects at any one time.
• Develop and review quality management systems.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
