Job summary

INPEX Australia is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor within the HSE team to coordinate environmental approvals and compliance across operations and development projects. This 3-year maximum term opportunity will see you work closely with regulators, project teams and operational stakeholders to help secure approvals and manage compliance obligations.

Occasional interstate travel may be required. The role reports to the Environmental Projects Team Lead and offers flexible working

Qualifications

• Experience supporting environmental approvals and compliance activities.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and approvals processes in Australia.
• Experience engaging with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Strong written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental approvals and compliance across INPEX Australia.
• Support engagement with Commonwealth, State and Territory regulators.
• Prepare and coordinate environmental strategies, applications and documentation.
• Maintain compliance systems, records and reporting requirements.
• Provide advice on environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, inspections and compliance assurance activities.
