Hazell Bros Group in Hobart, Tasmania, is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to ensure projects meet client and legal requirements, ISO 14001 standards and community expectations. Based at Derwent Park Head Office with travel and a company vehicle.

You will apply your environmental expertise across civil infrastructure, quarrying, concrete and industrial works, advising teams on erosion and sediment controls while maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience applying ISO 14001 standards and environmental management systems.
• Ability to travel across the state.
• Knowledge of erosion and sediment control practices.
• Experience liaising with regulators and clients on environmental matters.

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain project CEMPs and environmental controls.
• Manage compliance with approvals, permits and licence conditions.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and environmental monitoring.
• Advise construction teams on erosion, sediment, water, waste and vegetation controls.
• Investigate incidents, non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulators, clients, subcontractors and project teams.
