Job summary

Daracon Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our HSEQT team in Sydney, providing practical environmental guidance and leadership across projects and operations. You will work with project and site management to identify and manage risks, ensure compliance, and implement effective controls on site.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental management or a related discipline.
• Experience in an environmental advisory role within civil construction or project environments.
• Practical understanding of environmental legislation and environmental management systems.
• Ability to translate environmental requirements into practical site actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice, guidance and mentoring to project managers, site managers, engineers and operations teams.
• Review project environmental requirements and implement appropriate controls to minimise impact.
• Design and inspect erosion and sediment control plans and verify on-site implementation.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain records of environmental controls and actions.
• Support audits, investigations and the currency of Daracon's management systems.
