Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Enterprise Technology Manager to lead our Cloud, Network and Infrastructure Engineering team in Melbourne. The role focuses on reliability, security and performance of a hybrid environment, shaping the tech roadmap and driving strategic initiatives.

As Defence‑contract roles, Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance are required. You will lead automation, security uplift and complex cloud/network projects, partnering with

Qualifications

• 8+ years across cloud, infrastructure and networking environments.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Exposure to database systems advantageous.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Solid networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs.
• Automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Terraform.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage; Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven security uplift experience aligned to Essential Eight ML2.
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and CAB management.

Responsibilities

• Lead major infrastructure, cloud and network projects from planning to delivery.
• Represent Enterprise Technology at Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
• Ensure documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles are current.
• Build relationships with vendors and managed service providers.
• Lead security uplift initiatives and incident response planning.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, knowledge-sharing culture.
• Drive automation, IaC and DevOps improvements across platforms.
