Job summary

Cipher Recruitment is seeking a Technical Lead for a 12-month contract with a Sydney-based government organisation. The role requires leading technical solution design across enterprise apps, including on-premise and hybrid cloud environments. Immediate start; Sydney office 2-3 days per week, interstate candidates may work 100% remote.

Day-rate ranges from 1,000 to 1,100 plus super, depending on skills and experience. Applicants must have full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in .NET development.
• Experience across on-premise and hybrid cloud.
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps knowledge.
• Proven technical project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design for complex enterprise apps.
• Manage deliverables across digital programs and present designs to governance boards.
• Develop and oversee high-quality system changes and enhancements.
• Maintain application platforms across on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.
• Ensure effective development, production support, and technical quality.
• Provide technical leadership across projects and development teams.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Contribute to technical project management, business cases, and solution documentation.
