Job summary

Cipher Recruitment is seeking an Azure Integration Technical Lead for a 12-month daily rate contract, with Sydney CBD base and 100% remote option for interstate candidates. The role focuses on solution architecture, enterprise application development, and supporting digital programs within budget, timeframes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in .NET development.
• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience designing solutions for complex enterprise IT environments across on-premises and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Logic Apps & AIS: Deep hands‑on experience building integration workflows with Azure Logic Apps (Standard/Consumption), Service Bus, and Azure Functions.
• Data Transformation: Strong proficiency mapping complex XML, JSON, Flat Files, and EDI using XSLT and Liquid templates.
• Protocol & LOB Integration: REST, SOAP/WCF, SFTP, and SQL databases.
• Messaging & Reliability: asynchronous messaging, pub/sub, dead‑lettering, and scope‑based error handling.
• Developer Tooling & ALM: VS Studio/Code, Git, and multi‑environment deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Monitoring & Diagnostics: Application Insights and Log Analytics (KQL).
• BizTalk Migration: experience converting BizTalk to Azure cloud‑native solutions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the client’s application platforms to keep them current, efficient and effective.
• Illustrate architecture solution design and present to IT-SARB (Security Architecture Review Board).
• Develop system changes that meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain knowledge of current and future technology to drive digital capability.
• Ensure quality of support and development.
