Job summary

Optus is seeking a Senior Network Solution Architect to drive pre-sales for enterprise customers, designing innovative networking and security solutions, leading workshops and shaping opportunities with sales teams.

The role requires deep expertise in networking and security, strong communication, and the ability to translate customer requirements into commercially viable outcomes while collaborating across vendors and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in network solution architecture or pre-sales consulting.
• Deep expertise in enterprise networking and security technologies.
• Strong presentation and documentation skills, with ability to build executive-level briefings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise network and security solutions aligned with customer objectives and commercial outcomes.
• Lead customer workshops, technical presentations, and discovery sessions to uncover requirements.
• Partner with sales teams to shape opportunities, develop customer value propositions, and contribute to winning account strategies and business cases.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and technology partners to ensure seamless solution design, governance, and handover for implementation.
• Maintain deep expertise in networking, network security, and emerging technologies while providing technical guidance across the business.
• Contribute to innovation by identifying new solution opportunities and creating tools, templates, and best practices that improve team productivity.
• Develop training material and content around secure networking; enable and train presales, and provide SME support.
