Job summary

Dexcom seeks an adaptable software developer to design, build, test, and deploy cloud-based web applications across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD environments. You will enhance web, e-commerce, and CRM solutions while modernizing legacy systems through containerization, testing, and best practices.

You will work across backend and frontend domains, collaborating with tech and business stakeholders to deliver reliable SaaS solutions and support changing priorities in an Agile setting.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 6–8 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based web applications across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD environments.
• Develop and enhance web, e-commerce, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and operational issues across cloud-based applications and support tickets.
• Modernize legacy applications, including containerization, testing, documentation, and bringing applications up to current development standards.
• Work across backend and frontend development to deliver reliable and maintainable SaaS applications.
• Collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, and project teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum-based projects and Kanban-style application support, adapting to changing priorities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve repetitive processes and ways of working.
• Contribute to application testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Document development work, technical changes, solutions, and processes to support maintainable applications.

What makes you successful:

• You have strong software development experience and are comfortable working across backend and frontend technologies.
• You have experience with Go, Python, PHP, JavaScript/Node.js, HTML, CSS, and associated frameworks and libraries.
• You have a strong understanding of clean coding practices, including TDD, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• You have experience with Google Cloud Platform, including technologies such as Cloud Run, Cloud Build, App Engine, Datastore, and BigQuery.
• You are comfortable working with Linux, Docker, Git, shell scripting, Ansible, and CI/CD.
• You have experience with relational databases such as MySQL and ORM technologies.
• You have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and can support high-availability, cloud-based applications.
• You are comfortable working across planned development projects and ad-hoc application support priorities.
• You bring a practical approach to process improvement, automation, and continuous improvement.
• You have experience working with CRM platforms, such as Veeva CRM, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This is a nice to have.
• You have experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify. This is a nice to have.
• You have experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, and third-party APIs. This is a nice to have.
• You have experience working with additional programming languages and technologies, including Python, Go, and JavaScript.
