Arup's Highways team in Perth is seeking a Senior Highways Engineer to lead multidisciplinary road design projects with autonomy and client engagement.
You will manage design, documentation and analysis, mentor engineers, and coordinate with designers and drafters while delivering high-quality outcomes for urban and rural road schemes. Applicants should have Chartered status with Engineers Australia or equivalent, and a strong knowledge of Austroads guides.

Arup offers a comprehensive consultancy service for all types of road and highway projects across the globe, from feasibility studies and planning through to detailed design and construction. Our Highways project teams work across urban highways, rural roads, major interchanges and active transport infrastructure, bringing together engineers, designers and drafters to deliver multidisciplinary outcomes.
As a Senior Highways Engineer, you will be a key part of our Highways team, designing and managing multidisciplinary projects and working closely with engineers, designers and drafters. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, escalating matters where appropriate, and will lead small, medium and large-scale projects while contributing as a key member of major project groups.
Arup will support your continued technical, commercial and leadership development through structured learning, mentoring and project experience. In this role, you will contribute to the continued growth and success of the Highways team while developing your capability as a senior member of the group.

The role is based within our stunning, award-winning, architecturally designed offices in the heart of the Perth CBD housed within WS2. Spanning three levels, it is a bright open plan working environment with a lower social break-out space, kitchen, winter garden and luxury end-of-trip facilities, through to the top level's innovative 'Excellence Nest', makerspace and acoustics lab.
