Job summary

Jobtailor in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Frontend Architect to design and deliver complex frontend solutions using TypeScript, React and Angular. You will lead across micro-frontends, design systems, and shared libraries, while aligning engineering with customer outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and partner with product and design to ensure accessibility, performance, security, and robust testing.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building large-scale web applications with TypeScript and frameworks such as React and Angular.
• Comfortable working across frontend architecture, state management, scalable UI patterns, automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with design systems, Web Components, or micro-frontend architectures would be particularly valuable.
• Ability to communicate with clarity, navigate ambiguity, and shape technical direction.
• Legally entitled to work in Australia.
