Job summary

ACOR Consultants in Perth seeks a Senior Fire Services Engineer with building services exposure and Fire Protection expertise to support design and delivery of projects across sectors.

Ideal candidates will hold a recognised engineering degree, have fire protection experience, and be proficient in Hyena calculations and BIM coordination, with strong communication and organisational skills. ACOR offers career development and a supportive, diverse workplace.

Responsibilities

• Fire services design and analysis in accordance with regulatory standards
• Responsible for the internal management and delivery of allocated projects
• Understanding, identifying and proactively managing project risks
• Coordinating requirements between other disciplines (both internally and externally) and performing checks of documents and drawings of other disciplines
• Performing fire services documentation QA reviews
• Attending project coordination meetings
• Developing and improving existing client relationships and delivery strategies

As the Senior Fire Services Engineer, you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level. You will haveexperience and possess building services industry exposure, specifically Fire Protection Services Engineering with a desire to grow within this close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

• Fire services design and analysis in accordance with regulatory standards
• Responsible for the internal management and delivery of allocated projects
• Understanding, identifying and proactively managing project risks
• Coordinating requirements between other disciplines (both internally and externally) and performing checks of documents and drawings of other disciplines

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's engineering degree or equivalent, recognised by Engineers Australia
• Experience within the building services industry, specifically Fire Protection Services Engineering
• Competent in Hyena calculations and BIM coordination software
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• High level organisational, coordination and prioritisation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
