The Attorney-General's Department in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Enforcement Officer to lead significant enforcement activities within Consumer and Business Services. You will mentor inspectors and collaborate with law enforcement to build evidence-based cases that stand up to scrutiny.

The role requires credible courtroom presence, strong investigative instincts, and the ability to manage complex investigations with sound judgement.

Formación

• Must hold a current Australian driver's license (minimum class C).
• Eligible to be appointed as an Authorised Officer or Inspector.
• Requires successful police clearance and AGSVA security clearance.
• Occasional travel and out-of-hours work may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead compliance and enforcement operations, including joint taskforce activities.
• Represent Consumer and Business Services in court and provide credible witness testimony.
• Issue notices, expirations and other enforcement actions.
• Conduct interviews, manage evidence and review documentation.
• Prepare quality reports, disciplinary documentation and prosecution briefs.
• Ensure evidence is collected, labelled, stored, transported and disposed of in accordance with legislative requirements.
• Supporting, mentoring and guiding Investigators and inspectors.
