Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is seeking an Operations Analyst to support the Energy Trading desk in Sydney. You will be close to the action, owning core trade lifecycle processes and partnering with Traders, Risk, Treasury, and Technology to ensure accurate and efficient support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Operations or Middle Office in finance.
• Experience with listed/OTC derivatives or commodities.
• Interest in automation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own elements of the trade lifecycle from capture to settlement.
• Perform daily cash, transaction and position reconciliations.
• Support energy trading products across the desk.
• Act as focal point for operational issues with Traders and risk/finance teams.
• Collaborate with external counterparties and tech teams on initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate and strengthen controls.
