Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Consultant – Energy and Sustainability based in Australia, with a focus on APAC engagements. You will lead complex client projects, translate sustainability goals into practical energy-market strategies and advise senior stakeholders on how to connect climate objectives with business drivers.

The role requires 10+ years in sustainability consulting, strong knowledge of energy markets, and a willingness to travel across APAC.

Qualifications

10+ years in sustainability consulting or energy strategy.
Experience leading client engagements in a consulting environment.
Strong understanding of electricity procurement, pricing and market intelligence.
Willingness to travel across APAC.
Engineering or related degree.

Responsibilities

Lead complex energy and sustainability engagements across APAC with accountability for scope, quality and delivery.
Advise clients on energy-transition pathways including efficiency, electrification, renewables and storage.
Lead executive-level workshops, translate market issues into strategic actions.
Develop energy-transition strategies and practical implementation roadmaps.
Connect sustainability ambitions with energy-market considerations and contracting.
Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources and stakeholder communications.
Support opportunities through design, scoping, estimations and commercial reviews.
Provide coaching to consultants and cross-country teams.
Contribute to methodologies and reusable thought leadership.
