Job summary

AGL is seeking a Senior Energy Solutions Engineer to lead technical solution development for high‑value Commercial & Industrial energy projects, bridging customer requirements, technical feasibility and commercial outcomes. You will partner with Sales, Engineering, Bid Management and Delivery teams to ensure practical, deliverable designs and a credible technical advisory throughout the engagement.

You will bring proven EPC project development experience across solar, battery storage and EV

Qualifications

• Proven EPC project development experience delivering technical designs and cost estimates for solar, BESS, EV charging.
• Strong knowledge of solar, battery storage, and high‑voltage distribution design.
• Ability to define end‑to‑end technical solutions and communicate benefits to customers and stakeholders.
• Highly organized, commercially astute with value engineering skills.
• Proficient with design/modelling tools and electrical engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution development by scoping customer requirements and developing concept designs and preliminary cost estimates.
• Drive technical excellence with high‑quality proposal inputs detailing solution architecture and delivery considerations.
• Act as the technical advisor to customers and sales teams, supporting negotiations and solution‑based selling.
• Embed safety, risk and governance by applying safety‑in‑design principles and contractor management.
• Collaborate with project engineers and managers to ensure practical, deliverable solutions that transfer from sales to execution.
• Partner across functions to ensure alignment of customer needs with technical feasibility.
