Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineering Specialist to design and maintain modern SOE architectures for multiple customers in Australia. You will deliver cloud‑first productivity solutions, provide 3rd‑level support, and lead process improvements as part of a digital transformation journey.

You will work closely with clients, mentor team members, and ensure health and safety compliance. The role requires 5+ years in endpoint engineering and MSP experience, plus strong PowerShell, AD

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in endpoint engineering and SOE management.
• 5+ years of related experience working for a Managed Service Provider.
• Knowledge of hardware and software vendor support processes, including product lifecycles.
• Advanced end‑user management skills alongside modern and traditional SOE methodologies.
• Intermediate project management principles and Office 365 skills.
• Experience in Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PC, Intune and SCCM (MECM).
• Experience in Active Directory Group Policy Management.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver solutions in line with organisational goals.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining modern SOE architectures for multiple customers
• Working with customers to deliver cloud‑first productivity and collaboration solutions
• Developing processes to standardise support and maintenance across environments
• Providing 3rd‑level support and acting as an escalation point for complex desktop issues
• Proactively managing and maintaining customer SOEs and supporting infrastructure
• Delivering project tasks accurately and efficiently and contributing to project reporting
• Guiding and mentoring team members to resolve technical challenges
• Ensuring a health and safety culture in line with Datacom policies
