Job summary

Whizdom is seeking a Senior End User Computing Engineer to deliver Level 3 engineering, automation and operational support for complex end-user computing platforms in Canberra. Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure DevOps and Pipelines experience with source control, branching and PRs.
• Experience troubleshooting pipelines and releases across prod/non-prod environments.
• Experience administering Purview Information Protection including label policies and DLP.
• Experience managing Azure Virtual Desktop in a complex enterprise.
• Knowledge of Windows 11, Intune and Group Policy.
• Experience with compliance, MDM/MAM, app deployment and SOC management.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical designs, implementation plans and SOPs.
• Strong initiative and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, maintain and provide Level 3 support for complex end-user computing platforms.
• Develop and support automation, deployment pipelines and configuration-as-code using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Git and PowerShell.
• Automate deployment of Microsoft Purview Information Protection controls.
• Plan and implement upgrades, migrations, application deployments, patching and service changes.
• Monitor endpoint, application, platform and service health, capacity and performance.
• Diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions to complex technical issues.
• Produce technical designs, implementation plans, test plans, SOPs and support documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and Level 1/2 support to implement changes and resolve incidents.
• Support team capability through guidance, knowledge transfer and documentation.
