Job summary

Optus seeks an End-to-End Operational Resilience Lead to strengthen resilience across mobile and fixed networks. You will provide senior cross-functional leadership, focusing on end-to-end dependencies and incident response, driving continuous improvement and business impact management.

You will mentor teams across Operations, Engineering, and Transformation, influencing outcomes through collaboration and strategic leadership rather than direct control.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in complex telecom or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong end-to-end view of services across technology, operation and supplier domains.
• Proven ability to drive incident response and organisational learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior end-to-end operational leadership during customer-impacting events, aligning customer experience with technology dependencies.
• Assess customer impact, dependencies, risks, and priorities to inform decisions during complex scenarios.
• Maintain an end-to-end view of services across tech, operations and suppliers to identify dependencies and readiness gaps.
• Contribute to service readiness reviews, change activity, and operational assurance with practical insights.
• Lead organisational learning through service reviews and assessments to improve performance and outcomes.
• Strengthen capability across Operations, Engineering, Problem Management and Transformation.
