Job summary

Workways Australia Limited, located in Mount Gravatt, seeks a Senior Employment Coach to lead and mentor participants toward meaningful employment outcomes. You will use your coaching expertise to help clients overcome barriers and develop sustainable career pathways within a collaborative team.

You will also drive staff development, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement while delivering high-quality services in a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience coaching and mentoring participants to overcome barriers to employment.
• Strong leadership with ability to guide and support new staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Professionalism and outstanding customer service in every interaction.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office; comfortable with tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced guidance to participants with diverse needs to develop sustainable career pathways.
• Lead and mentor team members and share best practices for service delivery.

About The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Employment Coach to join our team and help drive high-quality employment outcomes for our participants. In this role, you’ll use your expertise in coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement to support both clients and colleagues to achieve success.

As a Senior Employment Coach, you’ll provide advanced guidance to participants with diverse needs, helping them overcome barriers to employment and develop sustainable career pathways. You’ll also play a key leadership role within the team—sharing best practices, supporting new staff, and contributing to continuous improvement in our service delivery.

• You understand the importance of compliance and are skilled at working within contractual frameworks.
• You may hold relevant tertiary qualifications or possess equivalent experience in Employment Services or a related field.
• You also hold a current driver’s licence and are willing to undertake a satisfactory Police Check and Working with Children Card as a pre-condition of employment.
