Rosewood Partners is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Melbourne to guide projects from prototype to production. You’ll architect and implement embedded firmware, collaborate with client teams, and help set development direction for complex systems with RTOS.

You will mentor other engineers, review hardware-software integration, and contribute to engineering proposals and planning. A strong background in Embedded C/C++ and Python is essential.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of firmware, embedded, or hardware engineering in product development.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and Python.
• Experience creating architectures for embedded systems with microcontrollers and RTOS.
• Familiarity with hardware–software integration, debugging, and testing.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Electronics, Software, CS, or related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, write, and test embedded firmware for a range of products.
• Lead requirements elicitation, implementation, and refinement for cross-functional projects.
• Manage testing and verification to meet software processes and ISO/IEC standards.
• Review schematics and debug hardware–software integration on prototypes.
• Provide technical guidance to clients and contribute to proposals and planning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers, fostering continuous improvement.
