Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to maintain and repair gaming hardware, including LCDs, cash handling equipment, and power supplies. You’ll read blueprints, perform BGA and surface-mount repairs, and diagnose faults with test gear such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

The role requires a Certificate IV in electronic repair (or equivalent) and 5+ years in electronics tech; knowledge of Excel, inventory systems, and reporting software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or equivalent in electronic repair or similar.
• An associate degree in electronic engineering technology is preferred.
• At least 5+ years of experience as an electronic technician.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of electronic repairs, LCDs, cash handling equipment, power supplies, and ticket printers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Use advanced BGA and surface mount repair skills.
• Diagnose faults with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, Inventory systems and Electronic Repair Reporting programs.
• Communicate effectively, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Lift and move components up to 15 kg safely.
• Work independently and apply problem-solving skills to repair parts.
• Adhere to Safety and Wellbeing policies and gaming operations rules.
• Participate in training and practice proper manual handling techniques.
