Aristocrat Gaming is seeking a seasoned Electronics Technician to maintain and repair electronic systems, including LCDs and ticket printers, ensuring reliability and compliance with gaming regulations. You will leverage 5+ years of experience and strong tool proficiency, working closely with cross-functional teams to uphold product quality and customer care excellence.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or equivalent in electronic repair; associate degree in electronic engineering technology preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working as an electronic technician.
• Extensive knowledge of electronic systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment.
• Capability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with manual and power tools; familiarity with electronic code requirements and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Gain a detailed understanding of electronic repairs including LCDs, cash handling equipment, power supplies, and ticket printers.
• Apply experience in component-level electronic repairs and read blueprints, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Employ advanced BGA and surface mount repair skills.
• Diagnose faults using test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Use computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, Inventory Management systems, and Electronic Repair Reporting programs.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills while multitasking and staying organized.
• Safely lift, maneuver, push, and pull components up to 15kg.
• Work independently with strong problem-solving skills to repair electronic parts.
• Adhere to Safety and Wellbeing policies and gaming operation regulations.
• Participate in training and practice appropriate manual handling techniques.
