Job summary

IC Resources Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer in Cambridge to lead the design, development and validation of advanced electronic systems for high-performance and mission-critical applications.

You will drive hardware activities from concept through production, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions and ensure successful integration into complex platforms. A strong background in circuit design and PCB development is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Extensive circuit design, PCB development, and lab validation experience.
• Familiarity with high-speed digital, RF, or defence-related systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead analogue, digital, and mixed-signal hardware design from concept to production.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
• Support prototyping: bring-up, debugging, validation in lab.
• Collaborate with systems, software, RF and mechanical engineers for integration.
• Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing technology company in Cambridge. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of advanced electronic systems utilized in high-performance and mission-critical applications.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will lead hardware design activities from the initial concept through to production, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust and high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic hardware.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection.
• Support the prototyping process, including bring-up, debugging, and validation in the laboratory.
• Collaborate with systems, software, RF, and mechanical engineers to ensure successful integration of electronic systems.
• Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• A degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
