Job summary

Equans ANZ is seeking a Senior Electrician / Multi Service Technician to support customers across Sydney, NSW and the ACT. The role offers variety, autonomy and opportunities for career growth, with on-call responsibilities and exposure to critical power systems.

You will work across multiple industries, performing maintenance, fault finding and advisory tasks while advancing your technical skills and professionalism in a dynamic services team.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in electrotechnology with Australian recognition.
• Strong understanding of complex electrical installations.
• Willingness to travel across NSW/ACT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, testing and compliance activities.
• Maintain ATS and Electrical Distribution Systems.
• Support electrical shutdowns and planned maintenance.
• Inspect building services equipment including pumps, VSDs and related assets.
• Provide professional technical advice and recommendations.
• Participate in an on-call roster for emergency responses.
• Prepare minor works quotations and repair recommendations.

Electrical Maintenance & Fault Finding

• Conduct inspections, testing and compliance activities.
• Work on and support maintenance of Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Electrical Distribution Systems.
• Support electrical shutdowns and planned maintenance activities.
• Conduct inspections of associated building services equipment including pumps, VSDs and related assets.
• Provide professional technical advice and recommendations.
• Participate in an on-call roster supporting emergency response works.
• Prepare minor works quotations and repair recommendations.

Travel & Variety

Travel throughout NSW and the ACT.

Work across multiple industries and technologies.

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Highly Desirable Experience UPS Systems ATS / STS equipment
• Electrical shutdown planning and execution
