Equans ANZ is expanding its Adelaide Electrical & Communications team and seeks skilled Electricians for major commercial, defence, and critical infrastructure projects across South Australia. The role covers installation, testing and commissioning in commercial/industrial settings, with day and night shifts and competitive EBA remuneration.

You will join a safety-focused team with strong project milestones, career development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Experience with communications, data and/or security systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead small teams when required.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical, communications and cabling systems.
• Delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship.

About The Role

Working across a range of sites throughout Adelaide, you will be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and communications systems within commercial and industrial environments.

Key responsibilities include

• Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical, communications and cabling systems
• Delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship
• Working collaboratively with project teams to achieve project milestones and deadlines
• Supervising small work crews when required
• Maintaining compliance with company, legislative and client standards

This role requires flexibility to work both day and night shifts, with applicable penalty rates paid.

About You

You are a safety-focused and motivated Electrician who takes pride in delivering quality work and supporting successful project outcomes.

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience preferred
• Experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations
• Experience with communications, data and/or security systems
• Ability to work autonomously and lead small teams when required
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation

Highly regarded experience includes:

• Defence, government or critical infrastructure projects
• Retail fit-out environments
• Communications and structured cabling installations
• Current Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1)

Essential Qualifications & Licences

• Current Electrical Licence
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• Current Driver's Licence
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Working at Heights

Highly desirable:

• Registered Cabler Licence with Co-axial, Fibre and Structured Cabling endorsements
• NV1 Security Clearance
