The Electrical Safety Office (ESO) is seeking applications from candidates for the Mackay/Cairns region of Queensland.

The Senior Electrical Safety Inspector is a mobile, field-based position with inspectors located throughout the state. These inspectors deliver the Electrical Safety Office's (ESO) statewide compliance and engagement program, respond to complaints and incidents, and collaborate with industry and others to improve capabilities to manage electrical safety risks. Inspectors work across the entire breadth of the electrical industry, in the electrical equipment supply chain, in other high-risk industries (e.g. construction, agriculture, and manufacturing) and in non-workplace environments.

A current Queensland electrical work license is desirable.

Key responsibilities
