Job summary

Core Talent is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Planner to join their project delivery team in Australia. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed project programs, planning electrical construction activities and coordinating with project managers and site teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Planner / Senior Planner in electrical construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Experience on large-scale commercial, infra, industrial, health, defence, or data centre projects.
• Proficient in reading drawings, scopes and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication with project managers and site teams.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and updating detailed project programs
• Planning and sequencing electrical construction activities
• Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to establish realistic construction methodologies and timeframes
• Monitoring project progress against baseline programs and identifying potential delays
• Providing regular progress reporting and schedule updates
• Identifying critical path activities, risks and opportunities
• Supporting project teams with short, medium and long-term planning
• Coordinating program requirements with subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders
• Assisting with look-ahead programs and construction planning
• Analyzing project performance and recommending corrective actions where required
• Supporting variations, EOTs and delay analysis where required
• Ensuring project programs align with contractual milestones and client requirements
