Job summary

DP World is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead the safe, compliant operation of high- and low-voltage electrical systems at Fisherman Island Terminal in Brisbane. This senior role oversees maintenance, safety, and asset performance in a 24/7 heavy-industry environment.

You will provide electrical leadership across maintenance teams, coordinate with operations and automation colleagues, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement while supporting on-call

Qualifications

Electrical Engineering degree or trade qualification.
Minimum 5 years in heavy-industry maintenance environments.
Strong HV/LV electrical knowledge and regulatory compliance experience.
Experience with industrial automation and drives (Siemens TIA Portal, Sinamics, ABB 800 series).
Proven leadership capability with strong safety focus.
Experience using CMMS and managing maintenance budgets and projects.
Hold or be eligible for an MSIC.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee HV and LV electrical systems in line with legislation and DP World policies.
Develop and execute HV switching programs and supervise HV operations.
Drive maintenance planning and backlog control.
Improve asset reliability through fault analysis and performance reviews.
Maintain HV/LV competency frameworks and training.
Lead safety performance, risk management, and compliance.
Collaborate with Automation, Operations, Engineering and contractors.
Provide on-call support to a 24/7 terminal.
