Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Senior Electrical & ITS Engineer to lead design, verification, commissioning and asset management of electrical, ITS and road lighting infrastructure across Western Australia. The role combines electrical engineering with communications, control systems and lifecycle planning, supporting tender development and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered engineer status or equivalent is advantageous.
• WA Electrical Licence or eligibility is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and ITS infrastructure design, verification, commissioning and handover across WA assets.
• Provide technical leadership across electrical, lighting and ITS assets including power distribution, switchboards, UPS, generators, CCTV, traffic signals and communications.
• Develop designs, calculations and specifications in line with Main Roads WA requirements and industry standards.
• Perform asset condition assessments, lifecycle planning and renewal strategies.
