Job summary

Endeavour Energy is seeking an Emergency Operations & Response Specialist to join the first-response team at Glendenning Field Service Centre. You'll attend network faults, assess risk, and, where competent and safe, switch, repair and restore supply across HV and LV networks.

This role is a field-based extension of Network Control, requiring autonomy, strong safety focus and the ability to coordinate with emergency services, customers and field crews on a rotating shift roster that includes

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification Certificate III Electrotechnology or equivalent.
• Post-trade experience in electrical distribution, including overhead and underground networks and customer installations.
• Experience in fault response, restoration and HV/LV fault diagnosis or repair.
• Strong safety focus and ability to assess risk in high-risk environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities to completion or escalation.
• Strong communication skills with Control Room, customers, crews and emergency services.
• HR class driver licence, White Card and EWP licence for boom lengths of 11 metres or more.

Responsibilities

• Attend network faults, assess risk, make sites safe, diagnose complex issues.
• Where competency allows, complete switching, repair and restoration to return supply safely.
• Operate as a field-based extension of Network Control, coordinating with emergency services and field teams.
• Work across HV, LV, street lighting and service networks with advanced fault finding and repairs.
