Job summary

UGL is seeking a Communications Technician to support Endeavour Energy’s critical networks. This field-based role is based from the Spring Hill Service Centre, Unanderra, with duties spanning radio, fibre, telephony, mobile and data systems across the Endeavour Energy footprint.

You’ll install, maintain, fault-find, and diagnose across field and office environments, work autonomously, and participate in on-call rosters.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills with the confidence to work autonomously.
• Commitment to safety and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to build strong relationships in a collaborative, team-focused culture.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and ability to work across field and office environments.
• Experience working in utilities, telecommunications, rail signalling, or critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fault-find telecommunications infrastructure across the Endeavour Energy network.
• Work across radio, fibre, telephony, mobile and data networks.
• Diagnose and resolve faults, often in the field to restore critical services.
• Build relationships with team members, customers and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Participate in an on-call roster and support during emergencies and network incidents.
