Powertech in Malaga, WA, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead FEED and Detailed Design for substations and HV systems, including protection, switchgear, and earthing. Deliver turnkey projects up to AUD 5 million and support modelling and design reviews.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years of experience, and Chartered Status (CPEng) or progression to it within six months. Mentoring, standards development, and costing support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with HV substations, protection schemes and earthing systems.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead FEED and detailed design for substation projects.
• Develop design scopes, specifications and project estimates.
• Supervise engineers and graduates; contribute to standards and reviews.
