Job summary

PSD Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Solar Design team, delivering cradle-to-grave design and delivery for utility-scale solar projects (100MW+).

You will provide technical leadership, oversee detailed electrical designs, modelling, and optimisation, while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and grid connection requirements. This role offers the chance to mentor engineers and influence major renewable energy developments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in utility-scale solar design (100MW+ projects essential).
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, grid integration, and electrical design principles.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle (design to commissioning).
• Proficiency in design and modelling tools PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards and renewable energy frameworks.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers within a project environment.
• Ability to manage complex technical challenges and multiple project priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role
