Job summary

HP Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to specialise in Secondary & Protection design across HV Substations, Renewable Energy, and energy storage projects. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, this permanent full-time role offers technical ownership, leadership of a national project portfolio, and mentoring of developing engineers while staying hands-on with design challenges.

• Lead Secondary & Protection packages across HV Substations, BESS and Renewable Energy projects from concept through detailed design.
• Provide technical input across protection schemes and secondary systems, review and improve design quality.
