Job summary

Jacobs in Perth is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the planning, design and delivery of electrical systems for major industrial and mining clients. You will work across studies, detailed design, commissioning and project delivery, mentoring engineers and building strong client relationships to grow our resources sector portfolio.

You will design MV/LV power distribution, transformers, switchgear and protection systems, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and global delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Chartered status (or working towards it) is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of electrical power systems, distribution networks, protection systems, and industrial installations.
• Experience across studies, detailed design, commissioning and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver electrical engineering solutions across studies, sustaining capital works, and project delivery phases.
• Design and manage MV/LV power distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, motors, protection systems and related plant infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and global delivery centres to successfully deliver projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth opportunities within the resources sector.
